JOI Rehab San Marco is the home of the JOI Sports Center and one of the JOI Spine Centers. The goal for Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute Rehabilitation’s Sports Center, located at our San Marco office, is to meet this demand while establishing a premier facility that both patients and athletes can utilize in order to return to their sport. The Sports Center at the Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute offers services to treat a sports injury, identify sports deficits, and enhance sports performance.
JOI Rehab San Marco offers ActivArmor™. ActivArmor™ is a support device tailored to fit each patient’s unique body. The revolutionary 3D scanning technology allows custom-fit medical casts. Unlike traditional casting methods, ActivArmor™ is fabricated with light-scanning and computer 3-D imaging, using a high-temperature thermosetting plastic. The new technology ensures each patient receives a unique, and precisely fit the device to customize the healing process.
