A Letter to Our Patients:
Dear JOI Rehab Patients and Families,
JOI Rehab remains committed to improving the health and function of our patients with physical and occupational therapy. As a result, we remain open and caring for our patients in a clean and safe environment with a staff of dedicated professionals who are working within the guidelines suggested by the CDC. Since we are open and fully functional, we wanted to make you aware of services for patients who may be better served in the comfort of their own homes. Our JOI Rehab clinicians are the most dedicated team of clinicians in the area and we continue to help you on the road to recovery.
-Your JOI Rehab Team
For patients who are safer at home, we will provide telehealth services. JOI Rehab uses the Zoom platform which is a free download on your laptop, phone or tablet. If patients have already been evaluated by a therapist previously, they are eligible for appointments with their therapist online through the Zoom platform. These options are a good way for patients to touch base with their therapists, review and advance home exercise programs, and to stay in contact with your JOI Rehab Clinician. We certainly want to continue to provide the same quality care that you have been accustomed to. If you don’t have a laptop with a camera and audio, just give your therapist a call and we are more than willing to help you through this difficult time. We can also do new patient telehealth evaluations through some insurances or with self-pay rates.
It is important to stay active even when you can’t leave your home or even your room. We want you to keep up with your home exercise programs and we certainly want you to obtain a full recovery.
Our JOI Physician’s Offices remain open from 8am to 1pm each day.
It remains our goal to provide you the highest quality care at JOI Rehab. We are certainly with you every step of the way through this difficult time. Best wishes and stay safe and healthy.
