Hours of Operation
The JOI Rehab Beaches location is one of the largest Physical and Occupation Therapy Centers in the Northeast Florida Region. It is on the Baptist Beaches Campus next to the Baptist Outpatients Surgery Center. JOI Rehab Beaches offers Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Hand Therapy, Medical Massage Therapy, Sports Rehab, DME or Bracing, Laser Therapy, Graston Therapy, KT Taping and Return to Sport Services. Anita Ballmick, MOTR/L
Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (University of Central Florida, 2013) Master of Occupational Therapy (University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, 2017)Anita Ballmick is originally from Orlando, Florida and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Health Science. She then graduated with honors from the University of St. Augustine in 2017 with a Master of Occupational Therapy degree. She is currently working toward obtaining her Certification in Hand Therapy. Anita currently works at the JOI Rehab Beaches Physical Therapy Clinic.
Tim Burkhart, PT

Tim Burkhart’s experience includes personal training, strength and conditioning for the Orlando Magic, spinal cord/traumatic brain injury rehab, home health, and outpatient orthopaedic physical therapy. He has been with JOI since February 2005.
Rachel Consolazio, Site Coordinator, PTA
Rachel Consolazio has been a practicing Physical Therapist Assistant at the JOI Baptist Beaches clinic since 2015, and has been site coordinator since 2019. She serves a diverse patient population including joint replacement, sports medicine, and spinal dysfunctions. Rachel is a clinical instructor, mentoring students during their clinical internship. She is also a certified Pilates instructor, which she utilizes in the rehabilitation of patients and transition back to recreational exercise. Rachel loves living in Jacksonville Beach with her husband Michael and their two cats.
Cameron Delicato, PTA
Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant (Concorde Career Institute, 2018)
Cameron Delicato has worked at Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute since 2013 as a Rehabilitation Technician at the San Marco Rehab Office. After completing his PTA program he relocated to the JOI Rehab Beaches Office.
Meghan Dunn, PT, DPT, ATC

Meghan Dunn has been with the Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute Rehabilitation team since 2008. She enjoys working in the outpatient orthopaedic setting and is certified in the Graston technique for soft tissue mobilization. In her free time, Meghan enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and the beach.
Mandy Hammock, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist (Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Massage Therapy, 2008)
Mandy is a native of Georgia, and a licensed Massage Therapist. She moved to Jacksonville to study massage therapy in 2008. Mandy was always an athlete throughout adolescence, and as a young adult. After several injuries and a major back surgery, she was still enduring chronic daily pain.
Mandy turned to massage therapy to relieve the pain and had a much better quality of life. Mandy knew she wanted to pursue a career involving structural body work in order to help others. She graduated from Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Massage Therapy in 2008. Since, Mandy has worked in many different types of settings, and provided different types of therapy. However, she has found that providing pain relief has been the most rewarding.
Victoria Hernandez, PT, DPT
Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology (Jacksonville University, 2016)
Doctorate of Physical Therapy (University of St. Augustine, 2020)
Victoria completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Jacksonville University where she also competed in Division I Rowing. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2020. Victoria has experience working with personal training clients and sports performance. She is passionate about sports and women’s health and loves going to the beach with her dogs.
Josh Martin, ATC, LAT, DME Coordinator
Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sports Science with a specialty in Athletic Training, (California University of Pennsylvania 2019)
Josh Martin joined the JOI team in September of 2019. Josh is currently the head ATC for the Jacksonville Sharks. Prior to joining the JOI team, Josh worked in various athletic training settings which include: an NFL internship with the Cleveland Browns, Division II Athletics, and High School Sports. Josh graduated from CALU in 2019 with his Degree in Athletic Training.
While in college, Josh played Rugby for the CALU Vulcans and was also the Head Fitness Instructor for Herron Hall. Josh is passionate about improving athlete’s health and performance on and off the field.
Josh is currently working as the DME Coordinator at the JOI Beaches Location.
Joan McLoud, PT
West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV (1985)
Hogeschool Enschede, Netherlands, (1995)
Joan McLoud worked at Baptist Medical Center in the Health/Wellness/Cardiac Rehab department for nine years. After receiving a second PT degree, she enjoys working in inpatient/outpatient hospital settings. She also likes to work in home health, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient Sports Medicine physical therapy.
She is trained in the Graston Technique, Electric Therapy Point System (ETPS), McConnell Taping, Body Balance for Performance Golf Program, and personal fitness programs. Early in her career she worked with the Aspen Colorado Hospital Physical Therapy Department. Joan joined JOI Beaches Rehab in 2005, and is currently the Senior Physical Therapist.
Kurtis Mullaney PT, DPT, ATC, LAT – Front Desk Manager

Kurtis (Kurt) Mullaney is a native of Jacksonville who graduated from Bishop Kenny High School. He received his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2012 while playing baseball for the Eagles. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015 from FGCU. Kurt has been practicing in predominantly outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine for 5 years. Before joining the JOI Beaches Rehab team, he spent 3.5 years at our San Marco office and 1.5 years as a traveling physical therapist in several private practice physical therapy clinics throughout Arizona and California. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and being on the water. He is passionate about health and fitness and is a huge Jacksonville Jaguars fan.
Jennifer M. Neuenfeldt MOTR/L

Jennifer Neuenfeldt was born and raised in the Jacksonville beaches area. While studying there she spent many hours volunteering in a hand clinic where she found her passion. Jen has now been with JOI for over a year with a focus in upper extremity treatment. Jen looks forward to many years with the organization. She currently works at the JOI Rehab Beaches Clinic.
Melissa Ross, LMT
Melissa Ross was born in Michigan. However military life brought her to Jacksonville in 1985, where she graduated Sandalwood High School. Melissa returned to Jacksonville in 1995 to raise her 3 children. Melissa went back to school after the market crash and graduated Southeastern School of Massage in 2012. She worked in Chiropractor’s offices most of her career ever since. JOI performed her back surgery in 2018 and helped her graduate out of rehabilitation through their fantastic physical therapy program. She joined the JOI family August 2019 as a massage therapist at the Beaches Rehabilitation. When not at work she enjoys volunteering at various events around Jacksonville, Girl Scout leader for 12yrs. Her hobbies include gardening and photography. It brings her great joy in helping other people achieve wellness and assisting in alleviating muscle soreness through massage.
Shelby Morris, Front Desk Specialist
Shelby Morris was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. She spends her free time at the beach, reading, or with family. Shelby is also a fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars!
Ashley Bruns, Front Desk Specialist
Ashley grew up in the Jacksonville area and loves that she gets to work near the beach area. Aside from her job at Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute, she also teaches children’s dance at a local Jacksonville Dance studio. Ashley enjoys spending time with her son and loves to go on new outdoor adventures. She loves her job at JOI Beaches and enjoys meeting new people on a daily basis.
Debra Gault, Intake Coordinator
Debra Gault recently moved to Florida from the Midwest to be closer to her sons and grandkids. She is a charismatic, football-loving, Southern gal. Debra is looking forward to getting settled in Jacksonville Beach and making new friends.
Rubyn Johnson, Intake Coordinator
Rubyn Johnson is getting ready to start a Master’s Program in Human Performance at Jacksonville State University. His goal is to eventually get my PhD in Sports Performance with an emphasis on Biomechanics. In his spare time, I enjoy weightlifting, listening to some good tunes, and baking.
Kimberly Kuster, Front Desk
Kimberly Kuster joins JOI Rehab with 32 years’ experience in the Medical Field, combined Nursing & Business Office. Her hometown is Buffalo, NY, however, she has traveled extensively (compliments of the USAF) with my spouse of 45 years! She has two adult daughters, three grandchildren and one, spoiled rotten cat! Kimberly loves walking along the beach. Her hobbies include painting, writing, and reading historical fiction.
