Spine and Interventional Pain Management
Scott Kowalski, DO is a board-certified specialist in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Management with extensive experience in advanced interventional pain treatments. After earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State University, he completed his residency and fellowship training through the Detroit Medical Center and Wayne State University, serving as both Chief Resident and Chief Fellow during his training.
Dr. Kowalski specializes in interventional treatment of chronic spine and joint pain, neuropathic pain, and other complex pain conditions using advanced techniques including epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, and minimally invasive spine procedures.
After nearly a decade caring for patients in Port Huron, Michigan, Dr. Kowalski and his wife relocated to Florida in 2021, he joins Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute in 2026 and is committed to helping patients restore function, improve mobility, and return to the activities they love as part of the JOI San Marco physician team.
