I developed shin splints while training for my first full marathon a few months ago.  As a physical therapist, I have treated numerous cases of shin splints. I explored every kind of traditional treatment programs within our San Marco physical therapy clinic.  I tried to rest, modalities and stretching to no avail.  Our clinic acquired the laser therapy equipment a few weeks ago and after getting three treatment sessions, I was able to run pain free (during and after!) for the first time in a few months.
