Christopher Garman, PA-C (Dr. Kaplan)

Christopher Garman, PA-C, Physician Assistant is a native of Jacksonville, Florida.  Chris was a competitive athlete throughout high school in football and weightlifting.  Chris’s journey in Sports Medicine began at Florida State University where he completed his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, graduating in 2009.  Chris went on to complete his master’s degree as a Physician Assistant at Nova Southeastern University in 2011.  Following his love for sports, Chris joined Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute in 2012.   Since 2014, Chris has served as a Physician Assistant with Dr. Kaplan. Chris loves serving the Jacksonville community through his volunteer work at local high school football games.  Chris assists Dr. Kaplan with on field coverage for the Jacksonville Jaguars.  He provides care for all patients working in the clinic and assisting in surgery.  At Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute, Chris works with his team to provide patients with care that is rooted in compassion, integrity, and excellence.  He ensures a personalized touch by building relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout their orthopedic journey.

Chris finds joy in spending quality time with his wife, 3 children, and 2 dogs, especially on the beach or watching/cheering for his favorite teams Atlanta Braves, Florida State University, and most importantly the Jacksonville Jaguars.
