Please watch this video on how you can get rid of Tennis Elbow.
If you are having elbow pain there could be several different reasons or symptoms that point to what your injury is. There are many factors that determine the source of your elbow pain such as age, physical activity, and severity of pain. For younger athletes, Little League Elbow is a common occurrence among pitchers in baseball. However, more physically developed athletes have the possibility of Tennis Elbow or Golfer’s Elbow.
A less common condition is Cubital Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) involves compression of the ulnar nerve as it passes through the cubital tunnel of the elbow which is located on the inside of the elbow. This area is often referred to as the “funny bone.” The common fix to this is a surgery called Cubital Tunnel Release. There are a few other possibilities that could lead to your elbow pain:
Elbow Pain Causes
- Tendonitis
- Fracture
- Arthritis
- Dislocation
- Sprain or Strain
- Bursitis
- Subluxation or Dislocated
- Osteoarthritis
- OCD or Osteochondritis Dissecans
- RA or Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Strains and Sprains
- Nerve Entrapment
It is important to determine the source and severity of your elbow pain so that it does not create further complications with other areas of your body. Ignoring an elbow injury for too long could lead to other muscles trying to compensate for the limited mobility, leading to shoulder pains or down to your wrists and thumb joints.
