The Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute Nassau Physician and Rehab locations are nearing their three year anniversary. The Nassau County locations accommodate those living in the Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach and surrounding Nassau County.  These locations offer the convenience of orthopedic treatment by Dr. Gregory Smith, as well as physical therapy under one roof. Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute is located on the Baptist Health Nassau Campus and is the only orthopedic specialist on the island.

Dr. Gregory Smith: Orthopedic Surgeon

Gregory Smith, MD is from Greensboro, NC and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Wake Forest University. Dr. Smith completed his Orthopedic Surgical residency with the University of Florida, with concentrations at The Mayo Clinic Jacksonville, as well as The Nemours Children’s Clinic and Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital. After completing his Orthopedic Surgical residency, Dr. Smith then served as the Assistant Team Physician with the University of Tennessee in Knoxville while completing his fellowship in Sports Medicine.
