The JOI Concussion Center

Diagnosis, management, and return-to-play or return-to-activity protocols for concussion patients.

The JOI Concussion Center is focused on the diagnosis, management, and facilitation of return-to-play or return-to-daily-activity protocols. Concussions are traumatic brain injuries that negatively affect brain function, often resulting from sports or activities involving violent whipping of the head.

Concussion Symptoms

Headaches & concentration problems
Decreased balance & coordination
Dizziness
Nausea
Vomiting
Fatigue
Sensitivity to light
Hindered sleeping patterns
Loss of memory
