A Letter to Our Patients:

Dear JOI Rehab Patients and Families,

JOI Rehab remains committed to improving the health and function of our patients with physical and occupational therapy. As a result, we remain open and caring for our patients in a clean and safe environment.  Our staff members remain dedicated to working within the guidelines suggested by the CDC. Since we are open and fully functional, we wanted to make you aware of the Bridge Program and Telehealth Services.  These options can be provided within the comforts of your own home.  In other words, our JOI Rehab clinicians are the most dedicated team of clinicians in the area and we continue to help you on the road to recovery.

A large portion of the content on our website is provided by JOI Rehab Clinicians.  Our goal is to provide you with the information to prevent injuries.  We also want to give you the information that you need to make good decision about your health and well being.  If you have a condition or injury, our team of physicians and rehab clinicians are here to help you get back to the activities that you love.  Feel free to call us if you have any questions.

Telehealth and The Bridge Program Options:

For patients who are safer at home, we will provide telehealth services or a bridge physical therapy program.  JOI Rehab uses the Zoom platform which is a free download on your laptop, phone or tablet. Therefore, new patients and existing patients are eligible for Telehealth appointments.  Schedule a virtual visit with your therapist online through the Zoom platform.

These options are a good way for patients to touch base with their therapists.  We can review and advance home exercise programs and to stay in contact with your JOI Rehab Clinician. We certainly want to continue to provide the same quality care that you have been accustomed to. If you don’t have a laptop with a camera and audio, just give your therapist a call.  We are more than willing to help you through this difficult time.  Patient Telehealth evaluations are covered by most insurances or with self-pay rates.
It is important to stay active even when you can’t leave your home or even your room. We want you to keep up with your home exercise programs and we certainly want you to obtain a full recovery.

Finally, it remains our goal to provide you the highest quality care at JOI Rehab. We are certainly with you every step of the way through this difficult time. Best wishes and stay safe and healthy.

Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute Rehabilitation Provides Conservative Physical Therapy

The JOI Rehabilitation Center’s offers an array of therapy options across 13 convenient locations throughout Northeast Florida.  JOI is very proud of our highly dedicated staff of Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Massage Therapists and Certified Athletic Trainers.  Working together to provide comprehensive and conservative care to every patient. In addition to physical and occupational therapy services, JOI has added the Spine Centers and the Sports Center.  Any patient who has a prescription for Physical Therapy or Hand Therapy can schedule at a JOI Rehab Center.  JOI Rehab accepts most insurance plans.  JOI Rehab also has a Spine Fast Track Program.

JOI Rehab Centers

Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute offers a variety of other therapy programs to help you get back to work, to play and to living.  JOI Physical Therapy offers The Graston Technique to help the healing process to soft tissue injuries.  Our clinicians attend a certification course specific to the Graston tools which are used for this modality.

JOI Physical Therapy in Jacksonville, FL. also provides these services to our patients; splint fabrication, durable medical equipment (DME), patella-femoral taping, kinesio taping, soft tissue & joint mobilization, The AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill (San Marco), Biomechanical Dartfish Analysis, Occupational Therapy, post-operative therapy, pre-operative programs, sport injury rehabilitation, throwing programs, post-concussion programs, custom foot orthotics and work injury rehabilitation. 

Dry
