Patients Encouraged to Wear Masks During COVID-19 Pandemic

The Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute and Baptist Health and are doing everything possible to help the safety of our patients during the Coronavirus outbreak. All employees at Baptist and JOI locations will wear face masks in an effort to reduce any risk of transmission while in the clinic.

Per the recommendations of the CDC, JOI is asking all patients to help protect themselves and others by wearing a mask or some kind of face-covering while in our clinics. The mask does not need to be anything fancy, it can be a scarf or you can make one out of things at home. To learn how to make a mask, please follow this link: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/diy-cloth-face-coverings.html
