Progressing Hip Exercises for Home Series

When beginning the Hip Exercise series, start with level 1 and progress through the levels as tolerated.

It is best to start with 3 sets of 10 repetitions on each exercise. If this is too easy, then try performing reps until you feel a mild muscle burn, then try to do 5 more.

When you feel comfortable that a level is easy, progress to the next level.

You should never push through pain.

The design of this series of Hip Exercises is for people recovering from hip injuries or hip surgery.  They may also be helpful for strengthening the Gluteal Muscles and other muscles around the hip.
