Dr. Whitaker is a graduate of the University of Florida and the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. His residency was completed at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Whitaker is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
He practices Joint Replacement, Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy, Hand and Upper Extremity, and General Orthopaedics at Beaches and Point Meadows. Dr. Whitaker is a member of the Baptist Center for Joint Replacement team at Baptist Beaches.
