Details: Practice Manager for a five physician orthopaedic practice located in Jacksonville Beach, FL, managing the non-medical activities of the practice with the support of the central business office. Focus of this position will be the daily operations including staffing and supervision of support staff; development of policies and procedures; scheduling, hiring, training and evaluation of staff; oversight of some financial activities, etc. A minimum of three years management experience in a physician's office required, preferably in an orthopaedic practice, with computer skills in Allscripts (Misys PM and Misys EMR) software preferred. Rehabilitation
Certified Athletic Trainer

Details: The position is a 40-hour/wk, full-time ATC for clinic/outreach coverage. This individual will split his/her time between one of our rehabilitation centers and a newly acquired high school. Our clinic offers primary outreach responsibilities including injury assessments, referrals, and practice/game coverage. Clinic responsibilities include providing physical therapy services, biomechanical analysis of sports medicine patients, DME brace fitting and distribution, and injury tracking of outreach patients. Required qualifications: Bachelor or Masters degree in Athletic Training, Certification as an athletic trainer and eligible for licensure in the state of Florida. Desired qualifications: Two or more years working as an athletic trainer, Graston technique certification or desire to seek certification, familiarity with Dartfish analysis software, CPR instructor through American Heart Association or American Red Cross, and experience working within outpatient orthopedics and or high school/college outreach. JOI is a company of 300 employees that currently operates seven physician offices and nine rehabilitation centers. Our patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatric with a strong focus on sports medicine and outpatient orthopedics. Details: Position Objectives: To perform Physical therapy, evaluations and related services. Provide patient care upon referral by and under guidance of a qualified physician. Available as a consultant to in-service education for clinic staff, patients, family, community projects. Work is performed with considerable independence within set policies and program guidelines. Work processes and assignments frequently require incumbent to interpret and apply operating procedures or technical standards to problems of moderate complexity. Principal Responsibilities: 1. Perform evaluation and physical therapy treatment for patients. 2. Observe and become aware of progress of patient, occasionally related by patient and discuss with referring physician. 3. Establish treatment plans for individual patients. 4. Record progress notes daily. 5. Maintain professional attitude and always observe professional ethics in patient treatments and department operations. 8.
